Vectrus has been named to Victory Media‘s 2018 Military Friendly Employer list in recognition of the company’s hiring and retention programs for U.S. service members transitioning from active duty to the civilian workforce.

Chuck Prow, CEO and president of Vectrus and a four-time Wash100 winner, said in a statement released Thursdaymilitary veterans contribute knowledge and leadership skills as team members at the government services contractor.

“Our commitment to be a top employer for our veterans and all employees is evident by the programs we institute to ensure their experience with our company is rewarding both personally and professionally,” Prow added.

The Colorado Springs-based company first received the publication’s military friendly employer designation four years ago.

Victory Media compiles its list each year based on public data sources for U.S. federal contractors, feedback from military employees and results of a proprietary, data-based survey.

Ernst & Young has served as the independent auditor for data used to create the list.
