BAE Systems is seeking a government transition partner for its Hallmark Software Testbed (HST) effort, which the US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) views as an opportunity for an advanced enterprise software architecture for tools that will integrate a full spectrum of real-time space domain systems and capabilities.

Chris Goldman, BAE Systems space systems engineering lead, told Jane’s in a recent interview that the company completed the second evaluation event for its prototype where BAE Systems’ software testbed and seven tool providing companies integrated into the company’s framework. BAE Systems then ran three mission scenarios over the course of a week: a breakup in low-earth orbit (LEO), a foreign launch, and an unscheduled satellite manoeuvre.
