Jordan’s Jadara Equipment and Defence Systems unveiled its new Terminator anti-tank missile system during the SOFEX show held in Amman from 8-10 May.

The missile has a calibre of 107 mm and a range of 100-2,500 m. It is available in two variants, one with a tandem high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) warhead, a second with a high-explosive fragmentation (HE-FRAG) warhead.

Jadara says the HEAT and HE-FRAG warheads can penetrate 550 mm and 50 mm of armour respectively.

The system uses a semi-active laser guidance system that requires the operator to keep the sight on the target.

Jadara general director Ayman Mashouqah told Jane’s that the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) will put the Terminator through two months of testing before approving it.
