Lieutenant Muath Moumani, an RJAF officer involved in operating the CH-4B fleet, told Jane’s that the CH-4B were acquired from China in April 2016 and are stationed at Sahl Nsab Air Base near Al-Zarqa city. The RJAF has five UAVs, each with its own ground control station. “We are using them right now for border protection and reconnaissance,” Lt Momani said.

The RJAF has acquired AR-1 laser-guided missiles and FT-9 guided bombs for the UAVs, but Lt Moumani added that they can also use unguided bombs.
