Integrated PL1-N Solution Provides Highest Level of Security

Fiber SenSys, Inc. (FSI) is pleased to announce the successful integration with the LINX™ access control security system from The Will-Burt Company. The FSI Fiber Defender® Alarm Processor Units (APUs) integrate with the LINX™ access control system, providing an IP- based graphical user interface for a complete perimeter security solution.

The combined PL1-N system also offers real time annunciation and reporting of perimeter fence alarm conditions, as well as video interface and event recording capability. “Fiber SenSys and The Will-Burt Company have completed the necessary engineering and testing to ensure smooth integration of the systems”, said Kazu Ikeda, FSI Chief Executive Officer & Chief Financial Officer. ” We have validated the functionality of the interface and as a result, security systems integrators and end-users will benefit by allowing LINX™ and Fiber SenSys to monitor the perimeter security of their site. In addition, the use of insensitive lead-in cable allows the FSI APU to be located up to 20 kilometers away from the protected perimeter zone and provides maximum integrated system design flexibility,” added Mr. Ikeda.

The LINX Predator Elite™ security solution features a truly integrated, multi-tasking, centralized system with unlimited expansion and scalability options. The core LINX system is certified by the U.S. Air Force and is the only physical security command & control system approved to deliver the highest level of military security – Protection Level 1 Nuclear (PL1-N).
